Bethel Church Renovation

A top-to-bottom renovation of a two-story Cornelius home. A larger kitchen, renewed bathrooms, updated flooring, and refreshed fireplaces build on the home’s good bones.

CORNELIUS, NORTH CAROLINA

A Complete Refresh for a Cornelius Home

The Bethel Church project transformed a two-story home in Cornelius from top to bottom. The house had good bones, providing a solid starting point for an approximately four-month renovation.

A Larger, Completely Renewed Kitchen

The kitchen was fully redone, with a four-foot bump-out at the rear creating additional space. Midrange to higher-end materials carried through the renovation.

Updated Bathrooms and Living Spaces

The bathrooms were retiled and the primary bathroom renovated. Flooring and fireplaces were updated, and an electric fireplace was added in one room.

Mecklenburg County plan approval was the main challenge Steven identified; the construction otherwise moved smoothly. The finished property received multiple offers when it was offered for sale.

The supplied photographs show selected rooms and exterior views before and after the work.
