Chatham House Renovation

An extensive renovation of a high-end home in Mooresville, North Carolina. Renewed interiors, level floor transitions, and a stronger connection to the backyard pool reshaped this golf course home.

The Chatham House project was an extensive, near-total gut renovation of a high-end home in Mooresville. Set on a golf course with an existing backyard pool, the home offered an opportunity to renew the interiors and improve the connection between indoor and outdoor living.

Level Transitions and Refined Interiors

Two dropped floor areas were raised: the sunken living room and the recreation space above the garage. These changes created level transitions through the home. The kitchen and bathrooms received high-end finishes, including a custom double vanity in the primary bath.

Open to Outdoor Living

The great room combines a coffered ceiling and stone fireplace with a five-panel stacking door opening to the screened porch. A powered screen adds flexibility for enjoying the outdoor space and pool setting.

The supplied gallery shows the home before and after renovation. Visible source watermarks have been retained.
